October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! Organizations around the Country are celebrating the work that people with disabilities participate in. The theme for this year is “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion” The theme was chosen to highlight that people with disabilities are a part of the workforce that will be needed as the nation recovers from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

If you or someone you know with a developmental disability would like to work, but doesn’t currently have a job the DD Ombuds can help provide resources for you and help find out if employment services are available. The DD Ombuds can be reached at [email protected] or 833-727-8900
