The Arc of Washington State held six virtual advocacy days to discuss how COVID-19 is affecting the developmental disability community and state services that people with Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities and their families use.

There will be two more virtual events to attend. On August 26th from 11:00-12:00pm will be “A Conversation on Special Education during COVID 19” with Superintendent Chris Reykdal and Assistant Superintendent for Special Education Glenna. There will also be a Spanish speaking Virtual Advocacy Day in September with legislators and presenters speaking Spanish. The date will be announced soon.
